Monterey pine appears in several cutting fields, alongside Douglas fir, cypresses, redwoods and other locally grown trees. The field selection can differ greatly from a farm’s pre-cut display. Many farms bring in firs from other regions, so these entries focus on the trees visitors can harvest from the farm’s own growing fields. Contact the grower when a particular species or height matters.
Many farms begin tree sales around Thanksgiving, while some publish earlier November openings. Early tagging or tree reservations do not always mean cutting has started.
